Craft & Prompt

Affiliate Disclosure

The short version: some links here pay me. None of them buy a ranking.

The disclosure

Craft & Prompt participates in affiliate programs. This means that some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up for a paid plan, I may receive a commission from that company.

You never pay more because of this. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to the company’s website directly. In some cases the affiliate link carries a discount that the public page does not.

What it does not affect

Several tools covered on this site have no affiliate program at all, and they are compared on the same terms as everything else. When a tool with no commission is the better fit, that is what the article says.

How you can tell

Every article that contains affiliate links opens with a disclosure notice before the first paragraph of content. You will not have to hunt for it, and it will not be hidden in a footer.

Why this page exists

Beyond being the right thing to do, disclosure is required. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) require anyone recommending products for compensation to disclose that relationship clearly and conspicuously. This site follows that rule.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, just ask. I will tell you.
